The Tunisian Football Federation has today made a choice for the least unpredictable in t at the head of the Tunisian selection. Mondher Kebaier has been named Tunisia’s new coach to replace Frenchman Alain Giresse, the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) said on Tuesday.
After unsuccessful contacts in turn with Radhi Jaidi, Sami Trabelsi and Nabil Maaloul, the federal office chose another Tunisian technician. The new coach signed a three-year contract.
Aged 49, Mondher Kebaier will experience his first experience at the head of a selection: he has in the past exclusively coached local clubs, including the Club Africain (CA) and Espérance Sports Tunis (EST). He succeeds former French international Alain Giresse, who spent less than a year at the head of the Eagles of Carthage: the two parties separated “amicably” on August 21.
